You can make the browser close automatically when there are no tabs open by setting the preference browser.tabs.closeWindowWithLastTab to true in about:config. This is the default behavior, but if it’s not working that way, open a new tab, go to about:config, search for browser.tabs.closeWindowWithLastTab, and set it to true. Now, closing the last tab will close the browser window as expected citation citation. To reply, just mention @dosu. How did I do?
