I too am interested in something like this being implemented. For my use case I would like to have the option to have completed tasks show indefinitely. I have a todoist list of "fun things to do this summer" on our dashboard. When our kids whine about us never doing anything fun, I want to be able to point at the widget and say "look at all the fun we had!" Another option would be to have the ability to ONLY show completed tasks in a widget, then I could just schedule a rotating section. |

I would love to see this too for my digital weather/choreboard for my toddler. My reasoning is similar to others. Checking off provide success when looking at later and when the toddler inevitably checks it off when not done it can be unchecked. |

Suggested by one of our clients for chore tracking. They would like to see a weekly view of the tasks that have been completed, so that an allowance could be paid for chores.
To do this it is requested that supporting enhancements allow with todoist and other todo sources to keep completed tasks in the list on the screen (with strikeout completed). These completed tasks could then be removed on a certain day of the week provided as a drop down option. Incomplete tasks would remain and not be removed.
Update 8/20/25
As an additional request, it is being asked that this scope is expanded to keep the task throughout the day and clear it at the end of the day.
So the total request would be to clear completed tasks at interval options:
