I really like this idea! FWIW, if you're technically inclined enough to deploy a docker container somewhere, you can achieve much of this functionality with icalfilter. It's nowhere near as straightforward as what you describe, but it works better than nothing. I know, because I used it to set up very similar behavior. I actually modified a bit of the source code for it to allow event title prefix/suffix modifications instead of only complete replacement. I need to submit a pull request to bring that feature into the main release, but even I'm happy to share my modification if you are interested. The other option is, of course, to add emojis right in the event titles on the calendar itself. This feels like a messy approach, but then, it might be tolerable. |
