Cabling issues

I have two questions regarding the use of the BEST toolbox for MEP Measurment:

(1) Under the '1.1. Hardware Interfaces', the BEST website mentions "actiCHamp Plus" as the only BrainProducts amplifier compatible with the toolbox. My question is whether I could use others such as the BrainAmp MR.

(2) If question (1) is "Yes". I would like to ask what kind of input does BEST toolbox need from the amplifier.
I want to use the toolbox to measure MEPs, and the following is the current setup I have in the lab: (1) PC-1 sends TMS pulses and writes the triggers on PC-2; (2) PC-2 records the EMG output.
I am using a BUA (USB 2 Adapter - https://brainvision.com/products/usb-2-adapter-bua/) to connect the Amplifier to PC-1 (for writing the triggers) and PC-2 (to record the EMG output).
I would like to use a third PC (PC-3) to calculate the MEPs amplitude via the BEST toolbox.
My question is whether I need to connect both the Trigger and the USB cable to PC-3, or whether just one of the two cables in necessary.

Hi Phil,

Brain amp is not compatoble unfortunately. Your EMG setup is not compatible as well.

Whats the sampling rate of EMG that you are using?

Our current EMG setup has a sampling rate of 5000Hz.

In this case, setting up the BCI or FieldTrip buffer can, in principle, help you out there. However, I am not aware if someone has used this method before, and it may require some debugging since its not tested.
