Exporting Options

Export a project

After you have finished recording a project, whether that be a single chapter, or an entire book, the next step is to export it in some fashion. You will need to return to the Book menu and Push the Export... dropdown menu.

After this, a dropdown menu will appear, showing the options: Listen, Source Audio, Backup, and Publish.

Listen

This option creates an MP3 file of the audio, allowing you to play it back on audio processing software such as Ocenaudio.

Source Audio

This option allows you to use your audio to create new source audio (See Importing Content for how to import source audio to Orature). This can be used to replace existing source audio, or to add source audio to a Project in the first place.

Backup

This option creates a backup for your project. In case you should somehow lose your project data, or accidentally delete it, importing this backup will help restore what you lost.

Publish

Much like Source Audio, Publish allows you to export a project in such a way that it can be used as a source.
