Releases: Miss-Inputs/ROMniscience
v0.5 I guess
Well, here it is. Been a while, I guess.
Let's see what we have since last time. A lot of things, really? But hard to sum up. Uhhh... support for CD-based systems is one main thing I guess. Yeah, we have a lot more handlers now. Like, full handlers, not just stub handlers. But we have those too! We have like, every stub handler. Even all those weird microcomputers from the 80s.
I really can't think of anything, there's just been so many individual changes that I can't pick out which ones were actually significant. Oh well.
That should be everything... zip up the things... put the zip in the file box... click the button... I think I know what I'm doing.
v0.4 I guess
I'm still alive. The most significant thing about this version is that it has proper archive support now! .zip and .7z and it should even do .rar if you really insist on using a proprietary format. Also it has a few minor bug fixes and performance improvements.
However... this does mean that I have to start distributing it with the library used for said archive support. So I can't just attach a little exe by itself and you're gonna have to put SharpCompress.dll in the same folder as ROMniscience.exe. Hopefully that isn't too much of a big deal.
v0.4.meow I guess
I didn't want to call it 0.5 but it's significant enough that I wanted to make another release. This adds stub handlers for almost every single cartridge-based system in existence (probably including whatever obscure system you smartarses in the audience might be thinking of), so you can get generic information (datfile matches would probably be the most useful thing) from them, and I can make a start on getting actual interesting information out of some of them.
If you downloaded this in the first few minutes after me posting it download it again because I made a hecking mistake
v0.3 I guess
Here we have zip support, but not 7z, so I won't say it has archive support yet
But it also has a status bar and a bunch of other bug fixes and I forgot what else I did
Once again I forgot to include the binary BORF
v0.2 I guess
Datfile stuff and some bug fixes.
I forgot how to write words.
Edit: Would help if I uhhhh attached the binary
0.1 I guess
Didn't think so far ahead as to do version numbers, so that's just what I'm gonna call it.
So uhh yeah here's the binary and you just run it, good times
