Statistics-Explained

This repo was designed to help anyone get better in Statistics. You will find clear notebooks and explanations on Statistics.

  • I'm practising my stat skills via the big book: 'Statistical Methods and Data Analysis' from the authors Ott & Longnecker. As this book only provides R-codes, I've changed these into Python codes in seperate notebooks for all you Python experts that would like to use these basic codes to make statistical calculations.
  • I'll show you how to use LaTex to showcase the proper formulas in Python markdown.
  • I've also added a summary of the book from Ott & Longnecker, so you have all definitions in one (fairly smaller) word document.

All scripts have comments in it, but please feel free to reach out to me via linkedin or via email!

note: I'm not yet finished with the summary of the book as well as getting all codes in, this repository will be updated regularly. Should there be something you want to add, comment on or request with high priority, be my guest!!

Hope this repository helps you in getting better at statistics. Let me know what you think.

Kind regards,

Renate van Kempen
