1. Machine Overview
To be able to grab materials with a tractor/skidsteer.
The grapple is an implement that attaches to the Front End Loader (FEL) of a machinery. It requires a separate set of hydraulics in order to operate the open/close (grab/release) function. !!!

- 3rd function. Adds another set of hydraulics, theoretically can be used at the same time with the "lift" and "curl" function. Practically there is not enough hydraulic fluid. It is the most responsive way as the 3rd function control is usually right on the main handle in a rocker switch. It is the more expensive option as a separate circuit is needed, either by adding a solenoid valve after the FEL valve, or by replacing the regular 2-way FEL valve with a 3way one/
- Remotes. Hydraulic fluid from the rear remotes of the tractor. It needs hydraulic hoses to move fluid from the auxiliary rear remotes to the front of the tractor where the Grapple attaches. Usually the operator has to relocate his hand from the FEL valve control to the Remote's valve.
- Diverter. It doubles an existing hydraulic circuit. The operator has a switch that energizes one of the two circuits. No need for an extra valve, but only 2 circuits of the FEL can be active at the same time.
