An easy to build and install temperature controller for use with distillation boilers or any other device where you want steady temperature control while allowing your heating element to run at its full potential (unlike how PID and SCR controllers work).
PID controllers have their place, but not in distillation or running a smoker because the heating element spends more time turned off than on. No, that "manual mode" on a PID controller is not a "manual PID", it's just putting the unit into SCR (PWM) mode with no temperature control. To do manual PID, you would need to be a math and physics wizard with impeccable timing.
The Boiilermaker is a far much more intelligent system with a web interface that you can run from your cell phone's web browser and also features a full Web API that allows you to integrate it with other systems. Each Boilermaker can also act as a master with up to 4 slave units. The system features two modes, (1) Constant Power, and (2) Constant Temperature. It also supports a DS18B20 digital temperature sensor for boiler usage, or a type K thermocouple if you are controlling something such as a smoker/roaster or a kiln.
