IBM have released new generation of mainframe processors in April 2025, which has now gone GA (Generally Available).
This version of the UDL for High Level Assembler:

  • includes all new instruction mnemonics
  • removes a series of keywords from the list of mnemonics that should never have been in there (they were an artifact from the initial create process, and should have been pruned immediately.
  • adds some comments to the UDL xml file to make it clear what is what - should help others to customize if they want to
