Source code for the paper "Joint Class-Balanced Client Selection and Bandwidth Allocation for Cost-Efficient Federated Learning in Mobile Edge Computing Networks".
This is an event-driven simulation of dynamic bandwidth allocation (DBA) in 1.244 Gbps Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) following ITU-T standard. Note that this is a conceptual implementation of the MAC mainly for academic insights. So most PHY layer and detailed MAC layer features are implemented with abstraction.
About This is an event-driven simulation of dynamic bandwidth allocation (DBA) in Fiber-To-The-Room (FTTR) network, where the External PON is a 50 Gbps Gigabit Passive Optical Network (50G-PON) with split-ratio 1:16 and the Internal PON is a 10G-PON with split-ratio 1:8. Note that This is an abstract implementation of the ITU-T standard G-PON MAC.
