Do We have a Grafana dashboard that is dedicated to the window exporters?

Problem Statement

I found that there are numerous outdated grafana dashboard and no data can be shown for the windows exporter. I am wondering if we have dedicated grafana dashboard for the windows exporter?

Environment

• windows_exporter Version: v.0.31.1
• Windows Server Version: windows server 2019+

I tried to use this dashboard before. But with the latest version of windows exporter, some of the graphs are broken and need to update a lot of attributes. It would be the best if the repository has a dedicated dashboard maintained for the new version of windows exporter.

I am using the compatible version of v.0.30.9 which still fit in the existing dashboard we have for the windows exporter.

For this dashboard, I would need to use grafana alloy as the big wrapper agent to collect the metrics and logs. However, I estimated the actual metrics I want from the windows hosts and I think Grafana alloy is over-kill for my case.

@JalenMak6: Yes, I was made painfully aware of that last week when I installed a new version of windows_exporter :-)

I might be able to share a new version compatible with latest.

Here are the approximate changes:

• 0.30.0-rc2
  • Changes to system collector:
    • windows_system_system_up_time -> windows_system_boot_time_timestamp_seconds
• 0.31.0
  • Remove deprecated cs collector:
    • windows_cs_hostname -> windows_os_hostname (os collector)
    • windows_cs_logical_processors -> windows_cpu_logical_processor (cpu collector)
    • windows_cs_physical_memory_bytes -> windows_memory_physical_total_bytes (memory collector)
  • Remove metrics from os collector:
    • windows_os_physical_memory_free_bytes -> windows_memory_physical_free_bytes (memory collector)
    • windows_os_processes -> windows_system_processes (system collector)
    • windows_os_virtual_memory_bytes -> windows_memory_commit_limit (memory collector)

I can understand the frustration of renaming metrics until know. But some naming in history was wrong, and collectors exists for historic reasons.

What could help to mitigate the issue is a scrape metrics relabel config to add a compatibility shim for 0.31.

Thats what node_exporters offers, but I do not have enough time to provide and test such rules.

Currently I am using this dashboard that is mostly compatible with v.0.30.9, and I manually update the uptime chart to make it work. but for v.0.31.1 and onwards, there will be a lot of N/A,
so hopefully we can have a dashboard that keeps up-to-date for the collector name :)

net
os

tcp
time

At least two of the collectors do not exist any more (cs and os). Any way, yes, it would be nice if "a" basic dashboard could be part of the code base alongside the exporter.

after upgrade to windows exporter to 0.31，the cs collector is removed and this makes a lot of N/A of many exsiting dashboard.

so is there any documentation for replacing collector cs ?

The cs stats were very valuable and I miss them a lot now
